This module enables registered employers or their designated representative (wakil syarikat) to perform electronic application and submission for Visa with Reference or Visa Dengan Rujukan (VDR) for their chosen migrant workers to enter Malaysia. At the same time, the eVDR module enables the Immigration Department of Malaysia to verify documents online and approve Work Visa applications. All this is done via the FWCMS portal.
FWCMS is integrated with Insurance Companies via approved Online Insurance Gateway Providers to enable purchase of mandatory foreign worker insurance. The main objective is to assist employers to ensure that all the necessary migrant worker insurance policies are purchased and renewed accordingly. Prior to submission of eVDR after worker data is confirmed, employers are given a Unique Insurance Transaction Reference (ITR) number to refer to their chosen participating insurance company for purchasing insurance. Purchase confirmation will then be automatically sent to FWCMS to allow employers to proceed with submission for eVDR.
